'How has being a part of Middletown girls lacrosse impacted me as a person and what has it taught me?'
Answer: Being a part of Middletown girls’ lacrosse I have learned a lot, but most importantly it taught me the importance of being a part of a team. That a team not only works together to succeed on the field, but we act as a second family that supports each other off the field as well.
'What are your pregame rituals that you use to maximize your performance?
Answer: My pregame rituals involve me getting my hair braided and then jamming out with the team in the locker room to get hype.
'What was your favorite moment in your MHS career?'
Answer: My favorite moment in my MHS career was beating Oakdale last year because the team really pulled together and we utilized each other’s strengths. Words can’t really describe how amazing it was when we all matched each other’s level of intensity and just ran with it.
'What would you say to an incoming freshman playing on the team next year? Any tips, tricks, or general advice on how to maximize this experience?'
Answer: Tips for incoming freshmen is to just keep your head up and enjoy the process. When you have a rough game or practice you just have to utilize them as learning experiences and grow from them. Also, make sure that you condition in the offseason so that you don’t have to hear “get on the line” as a much and you can spend more time actually playing lacrosse. Lastly, get to know your teammates and build off each other’s skills, and compete with each other.
'My plans for after graduation are?'
Answer: My plans after graduating are to attend the University of South Carolina Honors College where I will major in biology on the pre-med track. I’m also moving to Texas, so yee haw!
